Eid Al-Fitr 2024 in Dubai

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has confirmed the dates of the Eid Al-Fitr period. The official holiday will begin on April 8th. Depending on how many days Ramadan is, everyone will have 4 or 5 days off work as of Monday.

On the night of either April 9th or 10th, official celebrations marking the end of Ramadan will begin in the UAE. The most popular event during Eid Al-Fitr is the grand pyrotechnic shows. This year, fireworks will be set off on Bluewaters Island, JBR Beach, Al Seef, Dubai Festival City Mall and Hatta, and can be watched from different places around the emirate.

During Eid Al-Fitr, entertaining events are held throughout the emirate ― concerts, shows, workshops, etc. You can combine a festive walk with shopping and go to the Dubai Mall or relax with the whole family at the Global Village or Expo City Dubai.

During the holiday weekend, the Coca-Cola Arena and Sheikh Rashid Hall host concerts featuring musicians like Ebi, Rema, Abdul Majeed Abdullah and Dariush.
