Each year on the 30th of November, the UAE pays tribute to the warriors who sacrificed their lives for the country. All 7 emirates lower their flags and hold moments of silence to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of the heroes who served the country. The day is dedicated to all Emiratis who have paid the ultimate price in fulfilling their duties for the sake of security and stability within the country and abroad.

Following this glorious day, UAE citizens will celebrate the 52nd anniversary of the consolidation of the emirates into a unified country that we know and love today. Since 1972, National Day has been a major nationwide holiday held on December 2nd and 3rd. Residents can take part in festivals, fairs, exhibitions and dedicated activity programmes to celebrate this joyous day.

This year's official ceremony will be held at Expo City in Dubai and will focus on innovation and the country's sustainable future. The colourful show will highlight the history, traditions, unity of the nation, and its shared efforts towards the ongoing development of the UAE.
