Ramadan 2024 in Dubai

In 2024, the Holy Month of Ramadan officially begins on March 11th and will last until April 9th. This grand period ends with celebrations in honour of Eid Al Fitr leading up to April 12th.

During Ramadan, celebrations take place throughout the emirate: evening fireworks and laser shows, iftar, fairs and craft exhibitions. You can watch a cannon be fired, which is a solemn ceremony that takes place in various locations in Dubai, including Global Village, Burj Park, Al Mankhool, Al Baraha, Madinat Jumeirah and Dubai City Walk.

Anyone who wants to feel a part of tradition and history can go to the market in the Deira area. Ramadan Souq will transform the market square into the focal point of the celebration, and will be open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 starting on March 9th. All guests will be able to not only buy a variety of goods, but also try new foods, participate in traditional dances and even take a master class in calligraphy. Expo City Dubai invites you to Hai Ramadan. Throughout the month, visitors will be able to enjoy the holiday spirit at different cultural events, exhibitions and entertainment venues.

Traditionally during Ramadan, the most fashionable restaurants and resorts invite guests to partake in iftar — a festive dinner after sunset or suhoor. You can visit Address Sky View, the restaurant at Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, Deck Too as well as the famous Surreal water complex which looks like a waterfall or the Riva Beach Club on the Palm Jumeirah coast.

This festive month is a great opportunity to attend celebrations, mosques and traditional dinners. Dubai will soon transform into the perfect place to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Ramadan.
